Iowa Summer Writing Festival 2025. Since 1987, the iowa summer writing festival has welcomed to the university of iowa writers from 18 to 98 years of age, from all 50 states, and from every continent. The festival is now offering workshops online.
Iowa is writing, and writing is for everyone. For more than 80 years writers have come to iowa city to work on their manuscripts and to exchange ideas about writing and reading with each other and with the faculty.
